Book boyfriends are better.
If you don’t believe me, I will kindly direct you to the romance section of Hyperboles Bookshop where we stock an abundance of boyfriends to choose from.
You like abilicious football stars? We’ve got you covered.
More into the brooding Navy Seals? Right this way.
You say you like them with fangs? I’m not here to judge.
And don’t try to tell me that book boyfriends aren’t as good as the real thing, because I can prove you wrong. First, they can’t break your heart. Second, they can’t get another girl pregnant and dump you in the most cowardly way possible. Third, well…they always guarantee a happy ending, right?
For those who still doubt me, I have three words for you: Jamie, Gideon, and Christian.
Let’s face it, real men just can’t compare to the heroes between the pages. No matter how good they are between the sheets, they are bound to mess up eventually.
And just because Beckett Vinroot—with his washboard abs, cute dimples and sexy Clark Kent glasses—looks like he could be on the cover of a romance novel, it doesn’t mean I should give him a chance.
Have you ever read a book and caught yourself smiling over the course of the story? Like, there wasn’t a really funny part, or lovey part, or anything to really make you smile…. But you’re smiling anyway? That’s how I was with this book. I caught myself a few times smiling at whatever words I was reading. It’s a really cute and sweet book, and probably will be one of my go-tos now for when I need a pick me up.
As you can see, I really enjoyed this story. Jill Brashear did a great job relaying the details of the scenes, which made it super easy to picture everything. Her writing is very smooth and easy to read.
Lacey isn't really great in the dating department and she'd rather have a book boyfriend or a real boyfriend any day. Specifically, a book boyfriend written in her favorite author's books. At least until recently... And THAT is all I am willing to tell you! You will have to read to find out exactly what I am talking about. One clue, the synopsis doesn't really give it away either.
My favorite character is Summer aka Winter. (If you can find that little tidbit in the book let me know!). If I ever had a daughter, I would hope she was like Summer. Alas, I have three boys. Maybe the baby will like to read when he's older?
If you want a light, easy, sexy read - then this one is for you!
This book is not Kindle Unlimited but totally worth the 99 cents!
